Seniors and their families should take the survey LINKED HERE in regards to Commencement.
Gloucester Seniors and Families:

I want to thank our seniors for their commitment to academic excellence over the last four years.   While the last two years have been different and unique, the persistence and fortitude of the graduating class of 2021 to complete requirements for graduation during this period has been phenomenal. To add, I want to thank our parents as partners in success.   The team effort in ensuring the success of this graduating class has been encouraging and we are looking forward to celebrating the achievements of our seniors as the school year closes.

I want to outline some of our tentative plans for commencement this year.  Our goal is to celebrate the achievements, excellence, and accomplishments of our seniors while still adhering to CDC and VDH guidelines.  The administrative team has been working with our senior sponsors to plan the best commencement experience for the 2021 graduating class and their families.

This year’s commencement is scheduled for June 12, 2021 at the Gloucester High School Stadium.  We have also established tentative alternate dates for inclement weather: June 13 and June 14.

A survey will be forthcoming this weekend so that we can further plan for this event. We ask that all seniors and their families complete this survey so that we can adequately receive input for planning purposes.

Again, we are looking forward to celebrating our seniors and this tremendous milestone.

Thank you for your partnership and please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
