Remote Learning Day March 6th Click here for more information

Good Evening Gloucester Dukes,

This is Dr. Mygas calling with an update on the March 6 Remote Learning Day that was announced yesterday.

On the Remote Learning Day, students will need access their Chromebooks and a reliable internet connection, as they will be required to attend Zoom meetings for each of their classes in order to be counted as present.  The Zoom meetings will last approximately 30 minutes each, and will be held during normal class meeting times.  A detailed schedule will be provided in the coming days.

Students without access to a reliable internet connection should plan to come to GHS, where access will be provided.  Today, students were given forms they can use to indicate a need to be at GHS during the school day.  Students should also use these forms to indicate a need for bus transportation to and from school.  These forms must be turned in to the main office by 3:00PM on Monday, February 27.  Students who need a form can get one from the main office or from the link below.  The form will also be available in Canvas and on the GHS website.

In the morning of March 6, students and parents will be able to pick up a bag containing breakfast and lunch for the day.  A specific pick-up time will be announced soon.

Finally, after-school activities, including athletic scrimmages, will be held as planned.  The 5:30 activity bus will run as usual.

I will provide more information in my weekly message this coming Sunday.  Thank you, and have a great rest of your evening.
