Gloucester High School

A little after 8:00 AM this morning, GHS went into a modified lockdown because law enforcement notified school administration of a potentially dangerous individual who was outside near school property.  The individual did not come on school grounds or enter the building.  Approximately 25 minutes after going into modified lockdown, law enforcement informed school administration that the individual was no longer a potential threat.  The modified lockdown was lifted and normal school operations were resumed.  I’d like to thank our students and staff for their cooperation.  Safety is always our first priority at GHS.
