Dear Gloucester High School Community,
I’m pleased to share some important leadership updates at Gloucester High School.
Dr. Stefan Mygas has been promoted to Director of Secondary Instruction for Gloucester County Public Schools. Over the past four years, Dr. Mygas has led Gloucester High School with integrity, vision, and a deep commitment to students and staff. His ten years of administrative experience, combined with a strong background in program and curriculum management, have made a lasting impact. He successfully managed major construction efforts while also improving academic results—no easy task. Under his leadership, GHS has reached its highest graduation rate on record, reduced discipline referrals, increased attendance, expanded academic offerings, and improved both student climate and staff working conditions. We look forward to his continued focus on student-centered results in his new districtwide role.
As we begin this next chapter, I’m also proud to announce that Mr. Ade’ Brayboy will serve as Acting Principal of Gloucester High School. Mr. Brayboy brings 29 years of educational experience, including more than 18 years in administration, with 11 years at the high school level. He is deeply invested in the success of our students, and his leadership and strong relationships with staff will ensure a steady and successful transition. This past spring, he stepped in to fill an assistant principal vacancy at GHS and has already made a strong impression. A former band director with a bachelor’s degree in music education and a master’s in education from Regent University, Mr. Brayboy is a results-driven leader who will keep the momentum going.
Please join me in thanking Dr. Mygas for his outstanding service and congratulating him on his new division role, as well as welcoming Mr. Brayboy into this important leadership position.
Thank you for your continued commitment to the students and families of Gloucester High School.
