As we are near the end of the school year, we are finalizing plans for Chromebook collection. Students in grades 9–11 may keep their Chromebooks over the summer if they choose, particularly if they would like to ensure they retain the same device for the upcoming school year. Seniors and students transferring out of GCPS, however, will need to return their assigned Chromebook and charger.

Chromebook Collection Information for Seniors
Seniors who have completed all academic obligations may turn in their Chromebook and charger in the Tech Office during normal business hours.
If the Tech Office is closed, students may leave their Chromebook and charger with the Main Office staff.
Scheduled Collection Opportunities
Wednesday, June 4
Chromebook collection table will be available in the Main Hall near the Counseling/200 Hall entrance.
Collection Hours: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM (during lunches)
Thursday, June 5
Chromebook collection will continue in the same Main Hall location before and after graduation practice.
Collection Hours: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Technology staff will be available on both days to assist with device collection and answer questions.
Important Reminders
Students enrolled in summer programs (Virtual Virginia, Summer School, Governor’s School, etc.) should retain their Chromebooks and chargers over the summer.
Students transferring out of GCPS should return their Chromebook and charger prior to leaving the division.
A list of seniors with outstanding devices will be provided for inventory purposes, and follow-up communication will be sent to graduates who have not returned their assigned equipment.
