Shortly after 11:00 AM this morning, we had a situation which required the school building to be evacuated for approximately 30 minutes. Firefighters from the Gloucester Fire & Rescue arrived on scene to investigate the presence of smoke in the building. Following a thorough examination of the scene, the firefighters determined that there was no fire in the building, and it was safe for students and staff to return to the building. Our third and fourth block schedules were adjusted to ensure all students still had time to eat lunch.
