Spirit Week Alert! Our amazing teachers and staff were caught kicking off the GHS 12 Days of Spirit with style. On Tuesday, they donned their most festive hats and headbands to bring some extra holiday magic to the classrooms and hallways of GHS. Elevate the holiday spirit with our Senior Class Basket Raffle Fundraiser! From December 1-15, you have the chance to win fantastic prizes while supporting Prom and Senior Week activities. Simply contribute $10, select your desired basket(s), and await the exciting draw on December 17!

Chesapeake Bay Governor's School Glenns Campus invites families of prospective and current students to join us for an evening showcasing the CBGS Glenns program. Faculty will be on hand to discuss the program, and students will be presenting recent class projects and research. This event is open to all current CBGS Glenns students and families, as well as prospective 8th, and 9th grade students from Gloucester, King and Queen, Mathews, Middlesex, and New Kent County public schools.

Attention anyone interested in joining the GHS Wrestling team, there will be an interest meeting for wrestlers and parents at 3:00 pm on Monday 11/19 in the D36.
Practices will start on Tuesday 11/20 right at school, wrestlers are to meet in the wrestling room to check-in. Students must have a valid sports physical to participate and meet grade eligibility.

Senior make-up/retake pictures will be completed on Monday, November 13th by Lifetouch Photography in the back of the Auditorium from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This will be the last chance to have your Senior picture taken at school this year. Visual & Performing Arts Summer Governors School

Summer Residential Governor’s Schools provide gifted high school juniors and seniors with intensive educational experience in performing arts. (Must be a current 10th or 11th grader.)
Students live on a college or university campus for up to four weeks each summer. During this time, students are involved in classroom, individual, and group projects, visiting artists, and other professionals.
